　　Bill：

　　Gina：

　　What are you doing there on the computer?

　　你在电脑那儿干什么呢?

　　Bill：

　　Come have a look. I received many beautiful e-cards. They’re from my friends all over the world?. Christmas wishes for all my friends!

　　你过来看看。我收到了很多漂亮的电子贺卡。都是来自世界各地的朋友发给我的。我也要为我所有的朋友献上圣诞祝福。

　　Gina：

　　That’s pretty interesting. Did you get one from Helen? The reason I ask is that I’m looking for her number.

　　真有意思。海伦给你发了吗?我问你的原因是我想知道她的电话号码。

　　Bill：

　　Sorry, I don’t have it. But I do have her e-mail. Do you want me to send it to you?

　　我没有她的电话号码。但是我有她的电子邮件。你想让我发给你吗?

　　Gina：

　　Yeah, that would be great. Thanks.

　　是啊，那太好了。谢谢你啊。

　　Bill：

　　No worries. I’ll just forward her card and you can get it from the e-mail. I would really like to talk to her again. I kind of miss her a little these days.

　　Gina：

　　Thanks a million.

　　I’m really glad I got a chance to talk to you before you left, Mary. Have a safe trip!

　　Mary：

　　Mike：

　　Yeah, I’ll try not to! See you after Christmas.

　　Happy New Year! Rose.

　　Rose：：

　　Happy New Year! Thomas. Come and enjoy some nice drinks with us, will you?

　　新年快乐，托马斯。来和我们一起喝点什么吧，好吗?

　　Thomas：

　　Thank you, I will. What are you up to today?

　　谢谢，好的。你今天打算干什么?

　　Rose：：

　　First,I"m going to get ready for the parade. I have a great costume. Then later today, I"m going to church. If you want,I can give you a costume and you can be in the parade too. It"ll be fun. You should come.

　　首先，我得为今天的花车游行做准备。我有一身很漂亮的节日服装呢。稍后，我会去教堂。如果你愿意的话，我可以给你一身节日服装，这样你就能加入到游行的队伍里了。这非常有意思的，你应该来。

　　Thomas：

　　Sure,why not? It sounds like fun. Why are you going to church?

　　好的，干嘛不去呢?听起来蛮有趣的。那你为什么要去教堂呢?

　　Rose：：

　　My father likes to go and I told him I would go with him.

　　Lots of people, especially seniors, like to go to church and attend the evening service.
